GT uses specially designed stainless steel instruments with unique treatment edges and angles to deliver an effective means of manual therapy which separates and breaks down collagen cross-links, and splays and stretches connective tissue and muscle fibres usually associated with some form of trauma to the soft tissue (e.g., a strained muscle or a pulled ligament, tendon, or fascia).
In his spare time Michael loves to engage with human rights activism, exploring and making friends with dogs.
Dr. Natasha Gasparin, ND
I’m Dr. Natasha Gasparin, Naturopathic Doctor and passionate believer in whole body health. Venturing on a healthcare journey can be an intimidating, confusing path and I’m here to help guide you on your journey of healing. I am a naturopathic doctor licensed with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario. For those who are interested in the details, I have listed my qualifications below.
I believe that living a whole-hearted and healthy life should be something that brings you joy instead of worry and stress. Coming from a multicultural background with a large family, I understand the obstacles that come from trying to live a healthy life within a family structure that may not have the best health habits.
I became a naturopathic doctor in order to help my patients achieve true healing. Being a Naturopathic Doctor allows me to spend quality time with you and get to know your health concerns beyond a superficial level. By doing so I am able to provide you sound medical advice that will best help you overcome the obstacles in your health. I strive to provide you with a relaxing and safe environment to give you the space to be yourself and tell your story. I believe spending time with your healthcare professional is essential! After all, we are talking about the most precious vessel you will ever own—your body.
I believe improving one’s health shouldn’t be viewed as a burden causing excessive stress. It is my goal to make your health something enjoyable to work on. This will shape and create long-lasting changes and ultimately, the life you want.
What does this mean for you and how does it work?
I use modalities such as nutritional counselling, herbal medicine, homeopathic medicine, and acupuncture to assist the body’s natural ability to heal. This approach does require that you are an active participant in your health. By better understanding your body and your treatment options, this can help you make informed decisions and therefore motivate you to make lifelong changes.
You and I will collaborate on treatment decisions and figure out what works best for you and your lifestyle. We are all unique individuals with unique health stories. Therefore one treatment does not fit all. You and I will work together to find the treatment that will fit YOU. Now, you may be thinking, “What does that actually look like?”. Well, it looks like less pain, more energy, better sleep, effortless periods, or clearer skin to name a few.
If what I am saying resonates with you, please feel free to contact me at 519-990-2852 or book an appointment online. I am excited to meet you and help you on your way to feeling better and feeling like yourself again.
